Educational Gardening Sessions

These sessions are designed to introduce children to the basics of gardening, soil health, and caring for living things — in a hands-on, engaging, and age-appropriate way.

Each session focuses on curiosity and connection rather than perfection. Children learn by touching, planting, observing, and asking questions. The aim is to help them understand where plants come from, why soil matters, and how small actions can support the natural world.

Sessions can be adapted for early learning centres, schools, community groups, or special interest programs.

What's included

  • A gentle introduction to plants, soil, and growing regeneratively

  • Hands-on planting using seeds or seedlings

  • Learning about soil life, worms, and beneficial insects

  • A simple on site project (such as planting seeds in a small container)

  • Age-appropriate discussion about caring for plants and nature

Each session is tailored to the age group and environment, with a focus on curiosity, care, and connection rather than formal instruction.
